A lot of people have been asking questions about my team's move to Wolf-CBI.
The simple answer is that Wolf-CBI was created so that we could keep doing what we have always done. We are continuing to provide Crafted by Infinity diamonds in custom, heirloom quality jewelry with amazing customer service and support. Best of all, Wolf-CBI is a superior operation with better resources for our clients and young, new experts joining my legacy team. I cannot tell you how excited I am.
The Whys and Wherefores.
Those of you who know me know I am honest and transparent to a fault. Yet I have had to bite my tongue about certain things for several reasons. First, because there is litigation pending for HPD. Second, because the involved parties are forbidden from discussing it on PriceScope while litigation is pending. Third, because the answers are distasteful. I wish to repeat this. The answers to your questions are not neat or even logical. They are unpleasant, especially for those who have done nothing wrong.
Speaking of that, I am extremely proud of my team. As a former U.S. Marine I value honor, courage, and commitment. My team has done nothing but practice those values and faithfully serve our clients without distraction during this transition.
I.
In 2009 I founded High Performance Diamonds (HPD) and we became an authorized seller of Crafted by Infinity (CBI) diamonds, the most amazing diamonds I have ever experienced.
In June 2020, the manager of CBI diamonds was fired for financial irregularities resulting in losses of more than one million. This was shocking. Even more shocking was his written confession, detailing more than a decade of manipulation of everyone around him, including me. Proceedings against him are taking place in Belgium.

That should be the end, but it's not. HPD then endured a campaign of attempts by this person to reinsert himself in the business and replace CBI as my diamond supplier. This started covertly in fall 2020, with a deceptive third-party suggesting new supply. I discovered their collusion in November and expelled that agent who, by colluding, was violating an agreement with CBI.
When that scheme was exposed, the fired person surfaced and tried to manipulate my network. He contacted my team, some of my professional colleagues and even some consumer clients. Moving into December his campaign became more insistent and unpleasant, creating confusion and questions. We had no desire to drag his name through the mud, but the situation was becoming surreal.
It became clear to me that I could either surrender and let him in, or refuse forcefully, in which case he and his agent would attack HPD. Those were the choices. Break off my relationship with CBI and work with a person who robbed them, manipulated me, and awaits trial, or keep him away from my team. I chose to do the right thing.

Now you know why a legal suit was filed. Now you know why a "PriceScope Announcement" was posted. What you probably don't know is that it won't see a courtroom until the end of 2022. When we challenged his ability to participate in the lawsuit on the basis of having "unclean hands" they chose to drop him out of the suit as a party and continued the case through his agent.
My friends, no one at HPD did a single thing wrong. Despite our years of 5-star service. Despite running a perfectly honest business. Despite my personal commitment to PriceScope and my love for the community, the pinned "PriceScope Announcement" effectively killed HPD's business. Waiting for a resolution at the end of 2022 was not an option for me and my team.

Wolf Diamonds has been producing my fine jewelry pieces since 2014, when I discovered their incredible manufacturing operation. They were the HPD workshop from 2014-2020, producing pieces many of you wear. The extended lawsuit timeline changed plans for a HPD and Wolf merger. Instead, trusted trade members suggested an entirely new entity be created. One created specifically for the purpose of continuing CBI diamond sales in the USA. Before this could happen the CBI owner in Belgium met with me and the principals of Wolf Diamonds.
Great success. Wolf-CBI was created and is now the authorized partner of CBI diamonds in the USA. My staff and I were all offered positions inside the new framework of Wolf-CBI. This company is absolutely superior. If you take a moment to look at the jewelry workshop Wolf has assembled, you shall find that the quality game for CBI has been elevated like never before.
Summary
I hope these answers explain the whys and wherefores. The sad chapters are truly unfortunate for everyone, including our loyal fans and clients in the PS community who have done nothing wrong but have been exposed to the fallout. I am no longer shocked by the behavior we have experienced. I expect it to continue, as surreal as that seems. Ultimately, however, he will have to face his day in court.
The chapter I celebrate is how CBI and Wolf stepped up to support me and my team. My entire life, I have only ever wanted to serve clients with diamonds and jewelry of the best possible quality.
